Still - Life - Still

I'm continually inspired by the photographers I follow on Instagram.

Now, I'm a wanna-be.

I've been spoiled by taking pictures with my iPhone

I'd really gotten lazy about learning to use my

Canon SX530HS that Buzz gave me a few years ago.

How about you? Has your phone been your go-to camera?

I played around with my manual settings this morning

and came up with this moody pumpkin still-life.

While it was fun playing around with

iso & aperture settings, it made me realize

I have a lot to learn.

We'll see what tomorrow holds.

Found this leaf on our front step -

used my iPhone this time, then tinkered around

with my photo editor.

That was fun too!
