Melodie's Little Farmhouse - Kitchen
Melodie's Kitchen
Everything about this kitchen says
Farmhouse
I haven't been showing you Melodie's BEFORE pictures,
but I'm making an exception with her kitchen.
Seeing these pictures will help you grasp
the transformation that's taken place in this space.
Removing the upper cabinets made it
feel more spacious ... and the open shelving
screams
Farmhouse
I LOVE this prep area!
Melodie uses the chalkboard for
her ongoing shopping list.
Brilliant!
Everything has been painted
with their
Farmhouse White

I asked Melodie if they're ever embarrassed
that they live in a Mobile Home ...
her answer was, NEVER.
They Feel Blessed!

Geneva- They have done such a fantastic job on that place. It really does have farmhouse appeal. It is wonderful that people choose to live within their means and don't yearn for something they want just for "show" or to keep up with someone else. What a perfect kitchen....just like the rest of their home. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI agree, Diana. They are content on the inside and it shows up in everything they do. They're such an inspiration!!!

Hi Miss Geneva...your blog helped me to pass a sleepless night last night; thank you for making it more enjoyable :-) The little farmhouse of Melanie is so homey and pretty. They deserve to be proud of it. I went back to see your remodel, and it is equally fabulous. I have been living in a 5th wheel for a year (along with my hubby and two fur babies) after selling our home. We hope to start on a very small farmhouse soon. In the meantime, we have made this house on wheels our home, and it is very cute and cozy. I feel you can make any place home when it is filled with love. Thanks again for all the inspiration-just wanted to say I appreciate the work you are doing to share with others-oh! and nice to meet you! Amy
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to meet you too, Amy. I completely agree that you can make any place home when it's filled with love. Wishing you and your husband the very best with your new venture. Many Blessings!!! Keep us posted ... I'm sure you can inspire us too. xo

Ooooo, I love to see kitchen make-overs, Geneva. The black and white farmhouse kitchen is nice, and the pig angel caught my eye. : ) I just changed my kitchen and added bits of red, which has always been so charming to me.
ReplyDeleteHave a sweet weekend.
