Balancing Skills, Passions & Burdens
I feel a little bad
because I've been neglecting my blog lately.
Very few DIY's,
updates or even saying "Hi"!
I haven't given up,
I've just been trying to "organize"
My Life.
Trying to balance my Skills, my Passions and my Burdens.

ps: FuN ranks pretty high in the Balancing Act too!
I love that verse! Too often we seek joy and the Bible clearly teaches that our joy is in the Lord. Christians have every reason to be joyful! (looking forward to seeing pictures of your garden - here in the Canadian North, we have seen snow, snow and more snow!).
ReplyDeleteLove the verse! It's so hard to find balance...sometimes I feel like I have it all going great and then life throws me a curve ball! It's all good though...I do what I can and get to the rest when I can. Hope you find your balance and get your "life" organized...:)
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed week...Vicky
Sometimes we just need to take a break and allow ourselves the mental health time that we need. Sounds like you've got that figured out. Prayers.
ReplyDeleteI am glad to see a post from you just to know you are okay. We will be here when you are ready to come back regularly! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI get this way sometimes, too. I hope we hear more from you soon.
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
I am doing the same thing, girl, looking for balance. Recently I have been focusing on a true communication with the Lord in Prayer, and I am so grateful that as I pray more intently, with more faith, love and gratitude, He reciprocates, and I feel His love more intently. My scripture study has also become more regular and I love the grace and mercy and tender mercies that I find in each day. I find that choices are easier to make and I feel more relaxed about things when I am influenced by the Spirit. When I don't focus or read, my days are not as smooth and I miss that love I feel so easily when I do focus and read! I know that is the foundation of balance for me. Just as Christ is our only sure foundation. Hugs to you!

PS don't you love those clear shoe box shapes for organizing? I bought a few packages of those from Costco and I can find what I am looking for as well as organize things better!

Sometimes it's hard to balance everything, isn't it? I guess that's why I live with simplicity - it's the only way I can do it. I love the Barbie picture. Are you a Barbie girl too? The only doll that I remember playing with when I was young was my Barbie. My mom made her a few clothes, and I still have it to this day.
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard from you in awhile, and I'm glad my friend is ok.
Love,
~Sheri
Balance is the hardest thing to find in life. I'm struggling myself.
ReplyDeleteJust stopped by to say hello! Hello!
ReplyDeleteI think a lot of us are doing the same thing. Glad I am getting your email notifications. I always love your posts. I have been neglecting posting too. Enjoy the beautiful weather. It's about time! Us Texans aren't used to all this cold and ice!
ReplyDeleteLoved your post!
