Double Wide With Farmhouse Style
One of the benefits of blogging
is that you get to make friends all around the world.
Friends like Rhonda
who shared these wonderful
Before / After
pictures with me.
I knew you would want to see them too,
so I was HaPpY
when she said I could
share!
Rhonda says
"I have a husband who "gets me"
and is willing to build whatever I envision"
I'd said they make a pretty good team!
Their kitchen makeover included
moving the sink to the window
and incorporating a small chest underneath
Didn't they do a GREAT job!
Rhonda envisioned this island
and
Guess What...He made her vision materialize.
Could anything be more perfect!
Rhonda didn't say ...
but I have a feeling she refinished this hutch.
I love their style!
Even though we live miles apart ...
Somehow, I think if we got together
we'd realize we think alike, shop alike and
we'd have a Blast!
Their home is so personal ... so cozy...and warm!
Their Holidays are even special!

Beautiful cabinets! They are a Perfect team for each other! My hubby does many things for me, but I don't know if he would want to tackle THAT job! Please tell her how much I love the kitchen! I live on a farm and I really should have built my house a bit more farm like! But that is okay. I ahve farm house elements!

Wow. I really love it. Too cute. We own two mobile homes at our farm and both need kitchens. These are some great ideas.

Geneva, as husband to Rhonda, I enjoyed remaking this normal kitchen setup to one of a personal one that Rhonda had envisioned. The shutters you see over the sink were ones that go to the floor and also was out side the window opening. I had to cut them in half and also trim the shutters to fit the inside of the window box. The red drawers you see was a bedroom chest Rhonda had picked up "somewhere" and we converted it to work for what she needed. Those legs in front of the sink were some she picked up "somewhere" and were cut down to fit that space. I put a 1 x 8 across those legs, Rhonda applied the face piece to make it look finished. The island was the best thing of all with the doors she picked up "somewhere" and worked out great . Needless to say, we are thrilled to show off our kitchen to our friends and family. Have a blessed day!
