Garden Shed

Not your typical Garden Shed
but
it'll do!
Buzz had picked up old fencing hoping to recycle it into our garden shed.
As you can see, we were able to use a lot of it.
Our work bench is 95% recycled wood

Inside
are
bits and pieces of Garden Stuff
(stuff is what we call it anyway)
a little red bird house for our lizard
(we've seen him going in and coming out a few times)
recycled crates & pallets for storage

and a little red, white & blue

I didn't show you our containers for potting soil,
and Buzz's kitchen, where he makes compost tea.

Maybe next time!

Since this is our first year to use our little shed,
we'll have a lot of tweaking to do.
I'll keep you posted!

In the mean time, we're so looking forward to
Spring Time!

How about You?

  1. I like stuff and rust, too. It does not have to be perfect. In fact I don't care for it if it is!! I wish I had some of your garden stuff. Smiles, Dottie

  2. What a clever use of space and repurposed wood! I need something like that in our yard to house all the garden "stuff". :)

  3. Don't you need to cute that up some with some fairy lights and pennants? ;-) And if that side gets some sun, looks like it could be a perfect trellis for some scarlet runner beans.

  4. I love it! I just today saw the cutest little gardening shed on the front of Flea Market Gardens magazine. You can see it at this address...http://www.mypaintedgarden.com/2013/01/flea-market-gardens-magazine.html
The magazine was $10 so I didn't buy it, but I did snap a pic of the cover! Yours is too cute....I love repurposing things and saving them from the landfill. Great job!

  6. we're looking forward to spring time too!
I have the garden tilled and awaiting potatoes...and corn.
Love the shed! I think it looks terrific.

I know it will be a nice spot with shade overhead...and it looks like the breeze might come through and cool you down too.
Love the recycled aspect. You know me. 'use what you have'
