Oh I love white dishes too! This is so pretty...isn't it wonderful when you find a new space and purpose for an item and it fits just perfectly! Thank you for sharing!!!
Is it really a garden piece?! It looks like you had it custom made for your dishes! I like the rustic wood you've got behind your dishes, too. Very clever no-cost decorating idea.
I'm one of those people who likes to eat off white dishes. Everything looks so much more appetizing! Until I saw your post I forgot all about a set I saw at Junk Bonanza. $45 for the whole set of white restaurant dishes with a little jadite green art deco design around the edge. We all wanted to buy it, but in the end nobody did! Kick, kick, kick.
I love white dishes, too, and have a few sets (service for 4 and 8 only...very affordable). I love how you used yours in your fall decor and I love that plant stand! Great idea! :)
It's so fun to bring in a unexpected element and use it in a totally different way then how it wss supposed to used! It looks amazing with your white dishes! The rustic board behind them sets them off perfectly! Looks great! Rebecca
What a stylish idea to bring the plant stand inside and use it--I love how it looks with the sleek white plates and the bright pumpkins, Geneva! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today for a visit--glad you liked the pear beignets recipe! They are truly excellent food.

I would have a difficult time bringing your display piece in from the garden...both are wonderful! So fun to collect those dishes...they last forever! My fall decorating has begun and it is my favorite. Have a wonderful day.

I've been reading about your mobile home makeover again over at Mobile Home Living and wanted to tell you how impressed with it I am! My husband and I often dream of finding some place more affordable than our little cottage that we bought at the height of the real estate boom. Maybe someday!
Love your dishes - white is so practical and the dishes always seem to be so sturdy.

That's such a wonderful idea, Geneva. So adorable and fall-like with those darling pumpkins! I tend to bring a lot of "indoor" things into the garden. But you've got me thinking, now, about what "outdoor" things I could bring inside!
I want one! It would make life easier here too!! xo
