A Cloche Inspired By Nature

A Summer Cloche
filled with paper wasps nests, fern leaves
and a pair of bird watching binoculars.

All things inspired by my husband,
who always inspires me.
(Buzz's Garden Journal)

I
 love being married
to a
Naturalist

It's kinda like having a little boy...
You never know what he'll bring in the house next.
(I always check his pockets on wash day)

  7. Really loved your cloche contents. How neat that it was all inspired by your hubby.
I love nature too, and love finding neat things in the yard, and so does my son. His
job is in the agriculture field, so he loves plants and nature as well.
This was a very neat idea and also looks lovely, and the sentiments are lovely as well.
    Just beautiful!
    Blessings, Nellie

  10. That cute Buzz...I am so glad you have him. This reminds me that I found a wasp nest in my rose garden and I forgot to bring it in...I will recreate your beautiful vignette!

  13. Your vignette looks so pretty and I love the naturalist theme. I've used a Hornet's nest for decorating, but never a wasp nest. When you look at the design of the nest, the pattern is fascinating.

  14. I love to bring natural elements into our home. Putting these under a cloche is a wonderful idea. I may have to copy this idea. I recently found a large wasp next. Once I sprayed it to rid it of wasps, I' saved it for a spot in our house. Nature is a wonderful!

  15. I wish I was more diligent about checking my husband's pockets... he left some of the kids' crayons in his shirt pocket and it ruined EVERYTHING in the dryer!

  17. I love it Geneva. Now why have I been throwing my wasp nests away? I recently found a vintage pair of binoculars for only $5. My youngest daughter loved them so I let her take them. Think I need to be on the look out for more. I love it! It's especially fun that your hubby helped to inspire you. Thanks for sharing with Share Your Cup.
