Heart Adjustment...

I woke up this morning going in forty different directions; definitely feeling frazzled and out of control.  Deep down, I knew why, but just hated facing the reality that I had been neglectful of my relationship with God. 

I poured a cup of coffee; went to my favorite chair; opened my Bible and quietly focused on each and every word.  He lovingly touched my heart and began moving me in the right direction ...    

What was He saying to me?  Well, it went something like this.  "You're focusing on getting the approval of those around you, and I want you to focus on Me.  I'm the one who Blesses you; I'm the one who gives you Joy; I'm the one who gives you that Song."
In just a matter of moments, 
I realized God was giving me a heart adjustment.


Within minutes I went from being frazzled to
Happy, Merry, Cheerful

Have you ever seen a heart shaped potato?
I found it just minutes after getting out of my chair this morning.
I Love You Lord!
What a wonderful sense of humor you have.  ":o)

Psalm 108:1 - My heart is confident in you, O God; 
no wonder I can sing your praises with all my heart!

    God is so gracious. The heart shaped potato was his little gift to you after your devotions.

    Sometimes He gives me something, or brings about a situation or something, that's such a surprise. Often, it's a time when I'm feeling like such a failure.

    I've not seen a heart shaped potato but I have seen many, oh so many, heart shaped everythings.....I have a photo of a yam with a heart leaf growing from it.
