Cloche Love
Buzz and I keep collecting these Bell Jars
and I love experimenting with them...
Some how, they give whatever is under them
a sense of value and importance.
This one is displaying an old photograph we've had for years...
along with an old pair of reading glasses
and an envelope that has that
beautiful script
that was so common a hundred years ago.

I found an old pearl handle knife...
It made my gentlemen's display complete.

I love the way simple elements from nature
look displayed this way.
I'm sure I'll share more of these little
vignettes under glass
from time to time...
They're an ongoing experiment... ":o)

Geneva, I love your gentleman display under the
ReplyDeletebell cloche. I have been looking for them in thrift stores but just haven't found any. I also like the acorns and pumpkins in the glass.
Have a great day.

YOur cloche is stunning with the photo and antique treasures. I find old cards and envelopes so fun and I love to see the beautiful script writing on anything. Adding the glasses and the shaving knife is perfect. I also really like the pumpkin display. So pretty. Thanks so much for joining the party. Hugs, Marty

The greenhouse inspiration is wonderful too - wouldn't it be completely romantic to have a little conservatory in the back yard? Thank you for visiting and leaving such a thoughtfully kind comment.
