Apple Cake
Buzz and I couldn't wait to get to the market yesterday ...
We had Apples on our mind.
Today ... our house smells deliciously good!
The recipe came from a book published by
my son's school years ago...
It tends to be one of my go to books for down home cooking!
I baked mine 90 minutes
(It took a little longer because of the pan I used)
Wish I could put the fragrance into this blog for you...it's truly wonderful!

Oh yummy! I wish I could say, "I'll be right over!"
ReplyDeleteI can practically smell it. Looks like one of those down home cakes my grandmother made. Thanks for taking me back, and sharing the recipe.
ReplyDeleteI had a recipe for Apple Cake last year and lost it, so this is great! I've also been wanting to play with my new springform pan!! Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Janie
That looks so delicious and your photos are lovely from start to finish!
ReplyDeleteYou have reminded me that I need to make dessert for our dinner party tomorrow! I have a recipe for an apple cake that is so moist and delish! I make it in the Bundt pan and pray that it doesn't stick. A spring-form pan would be much easier! Visiting from Bunny's. ~ Sue
ReplyDeleteHoly Yummy! Great shots!
